Redesigning the Fidelity Assistant

The Fidelity Assistant on mobile didn't have a defined design system, which was unclear for users. This redesign meant extending the Fidelity Design System to conversational experiences, setting visual and interaction standards and building UI libraries for other teams. The new library is built on a solid token foundation and will scale as new AI-powered features are released, meeting strict accessibility guidelines. The new system has saved a considerable number of hours for the design team and made conversations clearer for users.

Understanding your account
2022 – 23
Investors had trouble understanding what was happening in their portfolio and why, leaving them frustrated. This proof of concept featured a new layout, highlighted relationships between data points, and brought in missing pieces that were scattered across pages. This work inspired the vision for a redesigned monitoring experience on the Fidelity website, used by millions every day.
